Founded by Robert Haydock and Carl-Einer Thorner in 2013, Zembula’s mission is to give every marketer the ability to easily create interactive content with no coding necessary. Zembula provides marketers with an entirely new way to engage their audience that takes advantage of the mobile & touch world that we now live in.

Zembula’s first interactive experience type, Scratch-it, is a digital scratch-off that reveals a hidden image and call-to-action. This reveal-based marketing uses several principles of psychology that influence human behavior like curiosity, FOMO, and the Near Miss Theory and are a large reason why Scratch-its have been so successful. Zembula also offers other types of interactions such as Pull-it, Slide-it, Zip-it, Peel-it, and more.

Zembula customers include both B2B and B2C marketers from companies such as Staples, Brady Corp., Fossil, Sandals, AutoNation, Time/People Magazine and Bistro MD.

The company has raised $1.1 million in seed funding from The Launch Fund, Seven Peaks Ventures and Portland Seed Fund.
